Saintfield United ran out comfortable winners at home to struggling Suffolk on Saturday. Josh Johnston-Wood completed a first half hat trick, as the home side dominated proceedings, apart from a momentary lapse which allowed the visitors to reduce the deficit.
Shortly after the break, Johnston-Wood tee’d up Jamie Donnelly for his debut goal, which was the first of a further six goals for the Saints. Johnston-Wood and Donnelly both finished with four goals apiece, and Ethan Barr deservedly claimed the ninth as a reward for his hard work. However, Suffolk had the final say, adding another consolation before the final whistle to round off the scoring.
